Kees had een geweldige stem en was een heerlijke rockdrummer. Tragisch aan zijn eind gekomen. In die tijd in die bezetting boekte ik ze minimaal 2 x per jaar in poppodium De Botte Hommel waar ik toen programmeur was Altijd volle bak.

Men Without Women has some of the best-written songs I've ever heard. Sadly, although the arrangements are solid and the performances are tight, the sound quality of the album is not good. Stylistically, it is the equal of anything in its era ... but produced badly. inexcusable, really.
